Both publications have been released as part of an exhibition and symposium at the ABC, architecture centre in the city of Haarlem. Central is the tension between design, implementation and use of (objects in) public space. The publication is a plea for furnishings designed for the site which provide a substantial contribution to the perception and use of that place.
